The Soul Is A Dark Place

A small curtained room, lined with black sugar paper was constructed to be dark inside.

During two separate evenings and using white chalks, people entered the room one at a time, and in the darkness wrote their thought. Unable to see what anyone else had written, the dark thoughts often obliterated, and blurred another's.

At the end of the second evening, the curtains were ceremoniously removed to reveal the interior of the room, and the collection of darkest thoughts.
